Celebrate the magic of winter, Chinese New Year and Valentine's Day in Niseko with our host of festive events on this February in and around Ki Niseko. Here is what's our guide to what's on.
Chinese New Year Fireworks: 11th February
Celebrate the Chinese New Year in 2018 with a dazzling display of fireworks in Niseko-Hirafu. The beautiful show will launch from around the base of the Ace (Center Four) Lift.

Lion Dance: 16th February
We're celebrating Chinese New Year in traditional Chinese style with a Lion Dance performance with amazing jumps, movement and interaction with the audience.
Performance times: 4:00 pm–4:15 pm and 5:30pm–5:45pm
DIY Red Envelopes: 16th February
In Chinese and other East Asian and Southeast Asian societies, a red envelope is given during holidays or special occasions such as weddings, graduation or the birth of a baby, as well as Chinese New Year!
Join in our workshop to create your very own envelope.

Bamboo Drawing: 17th February
Learn the art of traditional Chinese bamboo drawing with ink the help of Japanese sumi-e artist, Koichi Murai, who exhibited at Ki Gallery last winter.

Yukata Dress-ups: 18th February
Wear a traditional Japanese yukata, which is a casual version of the kimono. It is a robe usually made of cotton or synthetic fabric, wrapped around the body and fastened with a sash (obi).

Valentine's Day Champagne & Spa Special: 14th February
Enjoy an indulgent massage at Ki Spa with our Valentine's Day Spa Special and then why not enjoy a Valentine's Day sparkling drink at An Dining Cafe & Bar (fee applies for both).

Along with all of these great festive events we will also host our daily live music performances as well as our Snowman Making and Snow Lantern Making Workshops.
