Ki Niseko has been named "Best Deluxe Ski Hotel" in the Snowaction Japan Ski Awards. The decision was made public in the magazine's Southern Winter '15 issue, where it was described as an "easy and unanimous choice" for the award.
"The location is brilliant. Sure there's a string of ski in/ ski out properties heading down the hill fronting the Ace Family Pair lift, but on a powder day by the time you line up, ride the pair and then ski over to line up at the Ace Quad, dude, it could be over! Far better to fall out the door after a sumptuous breakfast and be first in line at the Gondola."
Ki Niseko was also lauded for its convenient ski valet, private onsens and in-house restaurant—An Dining—which "draws a crowd from as far as Sapporo to dine."
