We're thrilled to announce our latest exhibition coming to our Ki Gallery is that of Hitomi Igawa. The exquisite collection on exhibit from January 1st-27th, 2017, features photos in the theme of Irodori or "four seasons Niseko", capturing the various color palettes the artists has encountered during each of the four seasons in Niseko.
"Niseko quiets down when the winter ski season ends, but throughout the year I have witnessed some truly beautiful moments in Niseko nature," Hitomi said.
"In spring, everything went green. In summer, all the flowers bloomed. In autumn, there the densely diverse colors of the changing leaves appear. "
"It is my hope that through my photos you can experience even a small measure of what I felt during the moments presented here," the photographer explains.
Born in Aomori, Japan in 1991, it is her second season in Niseko this year, after falling in love with the landscapes and beauty of Mt. Yotei during her first winter season. It has been about five years since Hitomi first began interacting with nature through a camera lens. Before coming to Niseko, Hitomi journeyed to Canada and documented the landscapes and animals she saw there through photographs.
We invite you to come and marvel at the stunning works which will be exhibited from January 1st-27th, 2017,
