We are pleased to announce the latest exhibition at Ki Niseko this winter season, a solo exhibition titled "Grow Pine Trees" by local artist, Hiroko Takahashi.
Hiroko Takahashi started exhibiting her artwork in 2013 in Saporro, you may have been lucky to have seen her previous exhibition: "Over there and here 2016", which was featured in our Ki Gallery last year.
Most of her work focuses on propositions arising from life's big questions, like the root of herself and others. "Grow Pine Trees" draws on these questions, using instantly recognisable natural objects and figures.
"Grow Pine Trees" centres its focus on two natural subjects - Wolves and Pine Trees. The artist explores different ways that each of the two subjects interact together and asks questions to the viewer about what they see and how it makes them feel.
Make sure you come and check out the exhibition if you are visiting us in Niseko this winter!
