With winter almost here, our beautiful, painted cows have today been transported to their "barn" for winter.
Our colourful cows have enjoyed their summer sunshine with lots of visitors and petting over the warmer months. With metres upon metres of snow on it's way, the cows will now find home in the Ki Niseko "barn" to keep warm and toasty until we see them again in spring.
The annual cow move for winter is a sign that Niseko's heavy snowfall is on the way. Most of the cows are happy and willing to move onto the trucks, with only a couple of cows a little more stubborn to get moving!
Our cow art on display over summer at Ki Niseko is part of as larger cow art exhibition, made up of 47 life-size model cows, originally created in 2015 in Niseko.
