Fruit Picking in Yoichi
September is the perfect time enjoy fruit picking in Yoichi, just over an hour's drive from Niseko. Peaches, plums, apples and grapes are all ripe and ready for the picking and you can take home what you pick. It's a great activity for the whole family. Yamamoto Orchard is a great spot to check out.

Get Close to Nature with a Hike
Niseko has so much natural beauty to discover and hiking is a great way to see it all with trails open in the warm summer season. There's a variety of trails perfect for beginners like Lake Hangetsu, Shinsen-numa, Mt Iwaonupuri and for an extra challenge try Mt Annupuri or even Mt Yotei.

See the Autumn Sights
Experience the change in seasons with Hokkaido's trees all shades of gold from late September through to late October. Drive along the Panorama Line from Niseko to Iwanai to enjoy the rolling hills, views of the Sea of Japan and the sheer beauty of the Niseko region.
