Snowshoe & Cross-Country Ski Tours

  Try something different! Snowshoeing and cross-country skiing are great activities for the whole family!

  Snowshoe Day Tours (3 hours)

  Hike through the winter forest and make your way towards a crater lake at the foot of Mt. Yotei. Next is a huge snowslide down to the frozen and snowfilled Lake Hangetsu. Stop here in the peacefulness of the crater for refreshments before heading back to your starting point.

  Private Tours include:

  • Complimentary pick-up and drop-off service from Ki Niseko
  • Maximum of 12 guests overall

  All tours include:

  • Snowshoes
  • Walking boots (sized 22-28cm, for Japanese sizing, please measure the length of your foot in cm)
  • Tea and snack

  Please note, guests choosing Group Tours will need to make their own way to the NAC Activity Center, around a 15 minute walk from Ki Niseko.

  Cross-Country Ski Tour (Private only, 3 hours)

  Cross-country skis are designed to allow you to walk along flat areas and even up small hills, as well as sliding down. This is a great way to enjoy the outdoors at a slightly faster pace than the snowshoe tour.

  Tour includes:

  • Complimentary pick-up and drop-off service from Ki Niseko
  • Skis, poles, boots (sized 20-29cm, for Japanese sizing, please measure the length of your foot in cm)
  • Tea and snack
